“A chent’annos!” A hundred years! Here in Dorgali there are many occasions to exchange this beautiful wish, actually blowing out a hundred candles is by no means a rarity here. The heart of Sardinia, which with its many centenarians, has been identified as one of the blue zones of the world, where the population has a significantly higher longevity than the average.

Genetic issues aside, we invite you to explore l’Ogliastra and Barbagia in search of some of the secrets of longevity. The first advice: start with a nice walk through the mountain paths which surround the area and ensure not to miss a visit of one of the local wineries to give a toast to a long life!
